Building Schools for the Future

Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is a government investment programme to
invest in improving secondary schools.

BSF is a long term programme of investment and change aimed at
transforming secondary education by providing 21st century learning
environments for all secondary pupils across the city, providing more
opportunities for pupils and a greater range of services at each school.

Salford CLCnet will have a challenging and exciting role to play in BSF
and its current development plan is focused on ensuring that CLCnet
delivers a range of live-centre-based, live-school-based and web-based
services to schools and other stakeholders to ensure that the success
CLCnet has enjoyed in recent years is transferred as energy and
capability into the development of the new Secondary estate under
BSF and the development of the new Primary estate under
Primary Capital Programme.
